Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Oracle EBS Developer (E-business R12) for an initial 6 month contract. The role is with our London-based banking client.

Rate of pay: £600 per day inside IR35 via an umbrella company

Hybrid: Canary Wharf, London 3 days a week; 2 days a week remote working

This person will be responsible for Implementing, improving, monitoring, and maintaining the bank's Oracle financial application systems (ie Oracle General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, including E-business Tax modules) to ensure operational efficiency and data integrity as well as provide functional support to end users.

This job requires knowledge of Oracle E-business Suite-R12.

Responsibilities include:

  • Oracle EBusiness Financial Module(s) day to day support, rollouts, enhancements for EMEA with primary focus on General Ledger, Accounts Payables and Fixed Assets modules.
  • Includes project scope, design, hands on configuration, testing, documentation and production support duties.
  • Support all Oracle related interfaces.
  • Provide training to business users.

The experience required is:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 10+ years of experience as an Oracle E-business Suite developer with strong skills in the following areas:
  • Demonstrable experience of full life cycle implementation experiences for Oracle Financials, mainly General Ledger/Payables/Assets
  • System implementation and production support experience preferred
  • Oracle EBTax experience
  • Knowledge of SQL
  • Ability to work with various levels of business users, other IT staff and the vendor to resolve business and systems issues in a timely manner.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are required
