Programme Manager (Vehicle and Transportation Planning)

We are looking for an experienced Programme Manager with expertise in Vehicle and Transportation planning. This is for an initial 3-month contract based in Portsmouth.

£400 per day (inside IR35 via an umbrella company)

Duration: 3 months

Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 2 days onsite in Portsmouth; 3 days remote working.

The Programme Manager will report to the Transport Planning Manager and will be responsible for the successful delivery of the Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (EVI) work programme, working directly with the Programme Director (Transport Planning Manager).

Essential skills/experience Required:

1. Trained in Project / Programme Management Methodology (PRINCE 2, PMP, RMP, APM, MSP or other).
2. 5+ years in managing large scale / complex projects and programmes.
3. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage financial reporting.
4. Strong planning and project/programme control skills.
5. Proven leadership, analytical, people management, and strong communication skills.
6. Ability to manage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
7. Results driven.
8. Proficient in using MS Project or similar planning tools.
