We are currently recruiting for an experienced Finance Business Partner for an initial 3 month contract based in Crewe, Cheshire. Rate: £26.80 per hour inside IR35 via an umbrella Tenure: 3 month Hybrid: Crewe, Cheshire and remote (negotiable) This Finance Business Partner will support a major organisational change where external companies are being brought back in-house and so relative change experience is essential as well as various financial activities including: * In-year reporting, budget setting and year-end work * Company specific items such as VAT, company accounts etc. * The companies are being brought back in-house so a major change project is underway and needing financial support as part of the role. * Professional accounting qualification, CIPFA qualification or CCAB equivalent etc. * Experience of local government finance or equivalent * Proven track record of conscientious application and technical reliability * Accounting standards, codes of practice and legislation encompassed in statutory regulations * Statutory obligations of the S151 officer * Audit principles and practice * Risk management * Financial policy and planning principles If you have this experience, please apply with your latest CV as soon as possible to discuss the role further.
