My client, a global pharmaceutical manufacturing company, are looking for a Management Accountant on an 8 months contract working on a project involving the company’s migration from Oracle EBS to a new financial system.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Managing P&L and all ledgers (AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Bank) and balance sheets of a trading company and a small holding company. c.£15M turnover.
- Working with Senior Financial Accountant to prepare month-end close, reconciliations and reviews with site Management.
- Cash flow and working capital management.
- Overseeing the site expense processing.
- Preparing VAT returns.
- External stakeholder management.
- Auditing.
This is an 8 months contract based in Kent which will be reviewed for a possible extension or go permanent dependent on the candidate and business performance. The PAYE rate is £20.50 per hour.
Skills:
- Accounting and finance experience in the Pharma/FMCG or manufacturing industries.
- Either an Accountant or be a part qualified accountant.
- Intermediate level with Excel and Word.
- Knowledge of Oracle EBS and/or Hyperion (HFM) a strong advantage.
