Legal Assistant/Paralegal – Property Team
- Hours: Full-time/ Part Time
We are looking for an organised and enthusiastic Legal Assistant/Paralegal to join our busy Property Team.
The successful candidate will provide administrative and legal support to our property fee earners, assisting with residential and agricultural conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with the day-to-day administration and progression of property files.
- Preparing correspondence and standard legal documentation.
- Obtaining and chasing searches and other outstanding information.
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors.
- Assisting with exchange, completion and post-completion administration.
- Maintaining accurate electronic files and case management records.
- Carrying out client identification and other compliance-related administration.
- Providing reception cover when required, including answering telephone calls.
- Providing a professional and friendly service to clients.
- Supporting the Property Team with general administrative duties.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Organised, reliable and detail-focused.
- A confident communicator with a professional and friendly manner.
- Able to manage competing priorities and work to deadlines.
- Comfortable using IT and case management systems.
- A team player who is also able to work independently.
Previous experience in conveyancing, property or a legal environment is desirable, but we will consider candidates with strong administrative experience and a willingness to learn.
