Immediate starts with flexible working hours! We are looking for experienced residential care assistants to work for our client in the Manton of Worksop, within their homely care home supporting their regular care staff in providing a high standard of care to their residents. This specialist Dementia Related Illnesses care home can house 49 residents. The dedicated team of Carers specialise in providing a full care package to encompass activities that promote wellbeing for their residents in a supportive and secure environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with Dementia, Old Age and Physical Disabilities in their activities of daily living to stimulate and improve their quality of life.
- Pay attention to their individual care plans and provide a level of care tailored to their needs.
- Record and report any problems as they arise.
- Support the regular care staff in providing a high standard of care to residents in a specialist Dementia Related Illnesses care home.
Qualifications
- Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months.
- Up to date mandatory training, especially Moving and Handling with Hoist Training.
- Referenceable work history.
- At least 3 months experience within a similar setting.
- Sound qualifications in Health and Social Care.
Training and Support
If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, we can help you with this. We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!
Additional Information
We do not offer sponsorships. This is an ongoing role that can become permanent for successful candidates. You will be working from 22:00 to 07:00 on various days throughout the week. Rate of pay for this role is £13.00 per hour.
