Weekend Care Assistant - Earlies

Overview

Immediate starts available for experienced Care Assistants to work weekend hours in the Ilkeston area. We have rewarding opportunities to work for a small but busy care home housing up to 35 residents.

Responsibilities

Based in Ilkeston, you will work as part of the team following individual care plans and reporting any arising issues. You will take part in the daily activity sessions to entertain the residents and will also be expected to undertake housekeeping duties, including serving meals, feeding residents, and laundry.

Requirements

• Have 3 months experience within a similar care environment
• Have a checkable work history
• Have up-to-date mandatory training documents: Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving and Handling and Infection Control. If you do not have up-to-date certificates, online training can be provided.
• Have an in-date enhanced DBS check. If your DBS has expired, we can arrange a new one for you.

Working hours: 07:00 to 14:30 on Saturdays and Sundays.

Pay rate: £12.21 per hour, rising to £13.33 per hour after a successful qualifying period.
