HGV Class 2 Bin Lorry Drivers Needed. We’re offering immediate starts for experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our team covering the Swadlincote and Burton areas. In this role, you’ll drive a rear‑steer vehicle through local residential streets, working closely with a team of loaders to collect household waste and recycling. While your main responsibility will be driving, please note that you may occasionally be required to assist loaders as needed. We welcome professional drivers who conduct their work with courtesy, patience, and a strong focus on customer service.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Hold a valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Possess a valid Digital Tachograph card
- Hold a valid CPC qualification
- Have no more than 6 penalty points on your licence and no DD, DR, or IN endorsements
Working Hours & Pay
- This is an ongoing position with an immediate start.
- You will be working through Monday to Friday from 06:00 to 14:30 with weekends off.
- These positions will pay £14.36 per hour.
- You will accrue up to 28 days holiday.
