We're recruiting a Corrugator Operator to join a well-established manufacturing business in Scunthorpe. THE CORRUGATOR OPERATOR ROLE
As a Corrugator Operator, you'll be trained to operate and monitor specialist corrugating machinery used in the manufacture of high-quality cardboard packaging. Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating and monitoring corrugator machinery following full training.
- Carrying out quality checks throughout production.
- Monitoring machine performance and production output.
- Identifying and reporting any issues or abnormalities.
- Working closely with production and maintenance teams.
- Following production, quality and health & safety procedures.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We're not necessarily looking for an experienced Corrugator Operator. Full training will be provided. You may have experience as a Production Operative, Machine Operator, Manufacturing Operative, Machine Setter or Production Technician, or simply have a strong interest in learning a specialist manufacturing skill.
SHIFT PATTERN
The Corrugator Operator will work an 8-hour rotating shift pattern:
- 06:00–14:00: Monday–Saturday
- 14:00–22:00: Monday–Friday
- 22:00–06:00: Monday–Friday
Average working hours are approximately 42.5 hours per week, with paid breaks.
