We are seeking a reliable and motivated Assembly Operative to join our team on a temporary-to-permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble metal components to build storage cabinets and drawers
- Use handheld tools safely and effectively during the assembly process
- Carry out quality checks to ensure all products meet required standards before dispatch
- Handle and move materials within the warehouse
- Support general warehouse operations as needed
You will need to have a hands-on approach with good attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Applicants for this role need to have:
- At least two years’ assembly operative experience
- Experience using hand tools
- Happy with some lifting/shifting of moderately heavy items
- Good written and spoken English
- Hard-working and positive attitude
- Preferably have your own transport due to location and start times
This role offers ongoing work with an immediate start for the right candidate.
Working Hours
This role offers Monday to Friday work (full-time). You will work 07:00 to 16:00 Monday to Thursday and on Fridays you will finish early at 13:30.
Pay & Benefits
This role pays £13.00 an hour. Holiday will be accrued up to 28 days per year, pro rata. We do not accept visa sponsorships.
