HGV 2 / LGV 2 / CLASS 2 DRIVERS WANTED. You will be working for one of the UK's leading specialists in temperature-controlled transport and dedicated distribution services.
Duties will include collection of food products from food suppliers throughout the UK and delivery into supermarket RDC's and NDC's nationwide. No handball involved as drivers will simply be required to back on to a bay and wait to be loaded or unloaded. On average, drivers will be required to complete 1-2 collections and deliveries per shift. All drivers will be expected to carry out vehicle checks prior to deliveries and complete all paperwork in line with company guidelines.
To be considered for this role, you must have the following:
- HGV Class 2 Licence
- Digital tacho card
- A full UK CPC
- No more than 6 points on your licence
This is an ongoing temporary assignment. Various start times and shift patterns available as this is a 24/7 operation. Weekend work involved.
Pay for this role is as follows:
- Mon-Fri - Days - £15.00p/h
- Mon-Fri - Nights - £16.00p/h
- Saturday - £17.00p/h
- Sunday - £18.00 per hour
