Great Opportunity for HGV Class 1 Drivers in Rotherham – General Haulage – No Handball – Immediate Starts

Our client is a local Sheffield distributor and proud member of the TPN Ltd network (The Pallet Network), who offer premium and economy delivery services across the United Kingdom and Europe, and they are now looking to add additional HGV Class 1 Drivers to their team in Rotherham

This role involves driving a curtain side trailer delivering products to customers throughout the whole UK, on average 2-5 drops per day. Drivers will be required to open a curtain side trailer and wait to be unloaded.

You’ll be responsible for completing pre-shift vehicle checks and ensuring all paperwork is accurately filled out in line with company procedures.

Duration: This is an on-going assignment with genuine temp to perm opportunities available

Contract Type: Permanent

Hourly Rate: Pay for this role is £16.00 per hour PAYE with 28 days holiday per year.We can also pay you though our trusted umbrella payroll provider at the rate of £20.00 per hour

Working Hours: Working hours are Monday to Friday with start times being between 0500 and 0700 each day

Experience & Qualifications

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have:

• A valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) driving licence
• A valid Driver CPC qualification
• A Digital Tachograph Card in date
• No more than 6 points on your licence

In addition, applicants should have solid driving experience, including at least 12 months operating Class 1 vehicles

You should also have a minimum of 180 days’ hands-on commercial driving experience, ensuring you are confident, safe, and able to step straight into the role with ease.
