Flexible nighttime working opportunities for experienced Care Assistants within the DE5 area! We are currently seeking experienced care assistants to cover waking night shifts within a beautiful residential care home in the Ripley area. You will provide excellent levels of care to 28 adult service users, following personalised care plans for each resident. Your role will involve ensuring that every resident is respected and helping them live a happy and fulfilled life. You will cater to their personal care needs, assist with mobility, and prioritise their physical and psychological well-being.
Other responsibilities may include performing domestic tasks, adhering to health and safety guidelines, and promoting the welfare of the adults in your care. Don’t have a valid DBS and/or training? Do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!
Qualifications:- Have referenceable work history
- Hold in-date mandatory training certificates (including moving and handling, safeguarding vulnerable adults, and infection control)
- Hold an enhanced DBS certificate dated within the past 12 months or registered on the update service
- Have a minimum of 3 months paid UK work experience working within a care setting
Please note that we do not offer sponsorships. This is an ongoing position for work. The working hours are between 21:45 to 07:00 daily. Hours are available between Monday to Sunday – you tell us when you are available to work, and we will work around you! The rate of pay for this role is £13.50 per hour.
