Our client is seeking a full-time on-site Pressbrake Operator located in the Nottingham/Mansfield Area. The role involves operating and maintaining the CNC Press Brake machine to fabricate metal components with precision. Daily tasks include:
- Interpreting technical drawings
- Setting up and calibrating machinery
- Inspecting finished parts for quality
- Ensuring adherence to safety standards
The operator will collaborate with the production team to meet project deadlines and support operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in the operation and setup of CNC Press Brake machines
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards
- Experience in metal fabrication and knowledge of different material properties (e.g., stainless steel, mild steel, aluminum, copper, and brass)
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and maintain equipment
- Understanding of workplace safety standards and best practices
- Excellent team collaboration and communication skills
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
- Willingness to work on-site in the Nottingham Area
Role Details:
- This is a temp to perm role.
- You will be working Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:00.
- You will be paid £13.00 per hour PAYE and accrue 28 days holiday pro rata.
