Responsibilities
- Personalised Care: Follow and support each resident’s personalised care plan, providing hands‑on help and thoughtful attention to their individual needs.
- Health and Wellbeing: Keep a close eye on residents’ health, communicating any concerns to the Nurse or Clinical Deputy Manager, helping with calls to relatives or healthcare professionals.
- Champion Dignity: Uphold the dignity and respect of each resident, ensuring they feel valued, respected and cared for.
- Social Support: Encourage social interactions among residents and with staff, creating a warm and welcoming environment.
- Safety and Comfort: Create a comfortable living space and respond quickly to emergencies or call bells.
Qualifications & Requirements
- You must have proven experience within a similar care environment.
- Have a checkable work history.
- Have up‑to‑date mandatory training documents (Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving and Handling, and Infection Control). Should you not have up‑to‑date certificates we can offer online training, with an added fee.
- Have an in‑date enhanced DBS check; if your DBS has expired, we can offer the facility to arrange a new one for you.
We do not offer visa sponsorships. This is an ongoing opportunity. Your typical hours will start at 07:00 to 14:00, Saturdays and Sundays. You will be paid an hourly rate of £12.35 per hour, with added 28 days accrued holiday pay.
