Transport Coordinator Nottingham | £27,800 + Overtime | Full-Time Permanent Are you an experienced Transport Coordinator, Transport Administrator, Logistics Coordinator or Planner looking for your next opportunity?

We're recruiting for a Transport Coordinator to join an established environmental and recycling operation with multiple sites across the Nottingham / East Midlands.

This is a hands on transport office role in Nottingham where you'll play an important part in keeping the daily operation running smoothly – coordinating vehicles, drivers, maintenance and collections while working closely with the Transport Manager.

The Role You'll be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of the transport operation, helping ensure vehicles, drivers and collections are managed efficiently and in line with operational and compliance requirements.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Coordinating daily transport activities and vehicle movements in Nottingham.
  • Supporting the planning and scheduling of HGV and articulated vehicle collections.
  • Liaising with drivers to communicate schedules, changes and operational requirements.
  • Monitoring vehicle availability and helping ensure vehicles are available when required.
  • Liaising with recycling centres, transfer stations, customers and internal teams.
  • Monitoring outstanding work and following up where required.
  • Producing reports and maintaining accurate operational information.

What We're Looking For In this Transport Coordinator in Nottingham role we're interested in people with experience in transport, logistics or fleet administration.

  • Able to work calmly in a fast-paced transport environment.
  • Proactive rather than waiting for problems to land on their desk.
