Seeking a Senior Care Assistant for the Nottingham Area. The role operates within a medium‑sized care home and requires commitment to provide high‑quality personal care and support.

Responsibilities

  • Provide the highest level of personal care and attention to service users following care plans while maintaining polite, friendly, warm, and supportive contact.
  • Ensure adherence to all aspects of Health and Safety, including COSHH, Food Hygiene, and Infection Control.
  • Administer medication to service users and accurately maintain records.
  • Communicate with other care professionals regarding residents’ care needs.
  • Maintain confidentiality of residents’ personal information, behaviours and incidents.
  • Encourage and support service users to participate in leisure activities, escorting residents to appointments and outings.
  • Perform light cleaning duties and keep the home clean, pleasant, and welcoming.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Enhanced DBS Certificate (current).
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
  • Up‑to‑date mandatory training certificates.
  • Full, updated CV.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as senior care assistant in a 20+ bed care home.
  • Referenceable work history.
  • Outgoing, bubbly personality with a passion for improving the lives of those under care.
  • Previous experience with Atlas eMAR and PCS is preferred but not essential.

Full and part‑time roles available with shift hours ranging from 6:45 to 22:15. Please note that we do not offer sponsorships.

Compensation and Benefits

You will be paid £14.00 to £15.00 per hour, depending on hours worked. You will accrue up to 28 days holiday pay from your first shift. This role offers ongoing opportunities for the right candidate.
