Ideal role for a Care Assistant looking for weekend night shifts. In this role, you will play a vital part in empowering individuals to achieve their personal goals while ensuring their safety and well-being in a supportive environment. Our mission is to create a home-like environment that promotes independence, opportunities, and a high quality of life for every individual we support.
Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with their nighttime living activities, including meal preparation and personal care.
- Support clients in developing independent living skills through engaging activities.
- Implement behaviour management strategies to promote positive outcomes.
- Encourage participation in community activities to enhance social skills and confidence.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and any incidents that occur during shifts.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a holistic approach to care.
Qualifications
- You must have proven experience within a similar care environment.
- Have a checkable work history.
- Have up to date mandatory training documents, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving and Handling, and Infection Control. Should you not have up to date certificates we can offer online training, with an added fee.
- Have an in date enhanced DBS check; if your DBS has expired, we can offer the facility to arrange a new one for you.

Hours and Compensation
This is an ongoing opportunity. Your typical hours will start at 22:00 and finish at 07:00 the next morning, Monday to Friday. You will be paid an hourly rate of £12.75 per hour, with added 28 days accrued holiday pay.
