Ideal role for a Support Worker looking for additional work on weekday nights. As a Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in our close-knit care team, ensuring that residents receive exceptional care and support. You will help individuals with their nightly routines, promoting their independence, and ensuring their overall health and happiness are at the centre of your priorities.
Responsibilities
- Follow and support each resident’s personalised care plan, providing hands‑on help and thoughtful attention to their individual needs.
- Keep a close eye on residents’ health, communicating any concerns to the Nurse or Clinical Deputy Manager, and helping with calls to relatives or healthcare professionals.
- Uphold the dignity and respect of each resident, ensuring they feel valued, respected and cared for.
- Encourage social interactions among residents and with staff, creating a warm and welcoming environment.
- Work with housekeepers to maintain clean, safe, and comfortable living spaces, and respond quickly to emergencies or call bells.
- Assist residents who need extra help with eating and drinking, ensuring their nutritional needs are met.
Qualifications
- Proven experience within a similar care environment.
- Checkable work history.
- Up‑to‑date mandatory training documents: Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving and Handling, and Infection Control. Should you not have up‑to‑date certificates we can offer online training, with an added fee.
- An in‑date enhanced DBS check; if your DBS has expired we can arrange a new one for you.

Employment Details
This is an ongoing opportunity. Your typical hours start at 22:00 and finish at 07:00 the next morning, Monday to Friday. You will be paid an hourly rate of £12.75 per hour, with an added 28 days accrued holiday pay.
