The predicted salary is between 12 - 16 £ per hour.

We are seeking experienced Care Assistants to assist in the care and support of the elderly in a day care centre and assist the established team of Carers. You will be attending to their activities of daily living and will be dealing with clients with a wide range of physical and mental disabilities.

Daily tasks will include:

  • Attend to client’s daily hygiene and nutritional needs
  • Housekeeping duties
  • Observations of client’s conditions and reporting accordingly
  • Complying with health and safety
  • Completion of paperwork when required

For consideration, you must have the following:

  • Proven experience within a similar care environment
  • A checkable work history
  • Up to date mandatory training documents, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving and Handling, and Infection Control. Should you not have up to date certificates we can offer online training, with an added fee
  • An in date enhanced DBS check; if your DBS has expired, we can offer the facility to arrange a new one for you

We do not offer Visa Sponsorships. This is an ongoing opportunity. You will be required to work between the hours of 09:00 and 15:00, usually working 5 to 6 hours a day, Monday to Fridays. The rate of pay for this position will be £12.30 an hour.
