Are you a night owl with a passion for care? We have flexible night shifts available, offering weekly pay for the hours you work.

As an experienced night-time care assistant, you will be working alongside an existing friendly and experienced team to deliver the very best of care. The elderly residents are living with various age-related illnesses, with the home predominately providing care to those living with various levels of dementia.

Responsibilities

  • Providing personal care to the residents.
  • Assisting the residents with their mobility (including use of hoists).
  • Undertaking frequent observation checks throughout the night and ensuring that these are recorded correctly.
  • Repositioning residents as required by their care plans.
  • Responding promptly and professionally to residents' needs throughout the night.
  • Undertaking domestic duties as required.
  • Ensuring that health and safety procedures are always followed.

Qualifications

  • An Enhanced DBS Certificate dated within the past 12 months or registered on the update service.
  • Up-to-date mandatory training certificates.
  • Full up-to-date CV.
  • A referenceable work history with at least 3 months of UK-based care experience within a care or nursing home.

Additional Information

This role offers ongoing opportunities for the right candidate. You will be working from 21:00 to 07:00 on night shifts required from Monday through to Sunday. You will be paid Β£13.50 per hour.
