We are seeking experienced Night-time Healthcare Assistants to provide cover in the West Hallam area. You will work in a medium-sized care home that accommodates up to 31 residents, supporting a friendly and experienced team to deliver exceptional care throughout the night.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care to both male and female residents
  • Assist residents with mobility, including the use of hoists and stand aids
  • Conduct scheduled repositioning during the night
  • Respond promptly to buzzers
  • Perform domestic duties as required
  • Adhere to health and safety standards at all times
  • Maintain a friendly approach to residents and team members in all circumstances

Qualifications and requirements

  • A minimum of 3 months experience in a care environment
  • A DBS dated within the last 12 months or the facility to pay for one
  • All relevant mandatory training up-to-date and ideally certificates to show for this or the facility to pay for these
  • A passion to make a difference

Additional information

If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, we can help you with online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep. Please note that we do not offer sponsorships. This role offers ongoing opportunities for the right candidate.

Hours and pay

The hours are from 21:45 to 07:00 with nights being available as required from Monday to Sunday. Rate of pay for this role is £13.25 per hour.
