Immediate start for an experienced care assistant in the heart of Mansfield! We’re offering weekly pay rewards and a flexible shift pattern. The home you will be supporting hosts up to 77 residents with a dedicated team of Carers that are experts in the field of Alzheimer's Disease, Old Age and Physical Disabilities.

As an experienced care assistant, you will be required to follow individual care plans and attend to the daily activities of the residents. This dedicated team of carers specialises in providing a full care package to encompass activities that promote wellbeing with residents suffering from dementia and they pride themselves in providing a supportive and encouraging atmosphere.

This is a physically and mentally demanding job so you must have a real desire to work in this setting. You must have experience of dealing with residents with dementia, old age and physical disabilities and a desire to want to assist them in their activities of daily living to stimulate and improve their quality of life.

Requirements:
  • Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months
  • Up to date Infection Control, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and Moving and Handling training
  • A referenceable work history
  • At least 3 months experience within a similar setting

If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!

Please note that we do not offer sponsorships. This care assistant role is an ongoing opportunity for work. This service is staffed 24 hours per day; we are currently looking for carers to work night shifts starting at 10 pm and finishing at 8 am. There are other shifts available on request. Weekend overtime is available, with increased rewards. You will be paid £13.00 per hour.
