We are currently recruiting for experienced Care Assistants to work in a 20-bed residential home within Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. Your role would involve caring for residents detained under the mental health act, those with learning difficulties, physical disabilities and challenging behavioural issues. You will be required to provide personal care and support to our service users, as well as helping residents with their daily activities whilst on shift and carrying out other general duties.
You will use your knowledge and experience to aid the residents with their activities of daily living, providing a care‑centred approach round their detailed care package. Our Care Assistants are required to have sound experience in Health and Social Care. As part of all aspects of Care, you will be expected to attend to general housekeeping duties as well as being required to complete paperwork accurately and in detail and report accordingly.
If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!

- Have referenceable work history
- Hold in‑date mandatory training certificates (inc. moving and handling, safeguarding vulnerable adults and infection control)
- Hold an enhanced DBS certificate dated within the past 12 months or registered on the update service
- Have a minimum of 3 months paid UK work experience working within a care setting.
This role offers ongoing opportunities. You will be working from 20:00 til 08:00 on various nights throughout the week. You will be paid £13.00 per hour.
