We are recruiting a Transport Compliance Manager in Grantham for a well-established general haulage business operating a fleet of 40+ vehicles and 100+ trailers. The Transport Compliance Manager is a key leadership position within the business, acting as the General Manager’s second-in-command and playing a major role in the ongoing development of the transport operation based out of Grantham. The company has a strong compliance culture and an established customer base, generating over £10m turnover through contracted business. They are now looking for an experienced transport professional who can review current processes, identify opportunities for improvement and drive compliance standards across the operation.
The Role:
- Lead all aspects of transport compliance and regulatory management
- Conduct a full compliance and operational gap analysis
- Ensure compliance with Operator Licence requirements and transport legislation
- Manage driver compliance, defect reporting and vehicle maintenance processes
- Review and improve health and safety standards
