We are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV/LGV Class 2 Multi-Drop Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods safely and efficiently to multiple locations, ensuring excellent customer service and compliance with all transport regulations.
Responsibilities
- Carry out multi-drop deliveries to customers across designated routes.
- Ensure all goods are loaded, secured, and delivered in a safe and timely manner.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and delivery documentation accurately.
- Perform daily vehicle checks and report any defects or issues promptly.
- Comply with all road traffic laws, company policies, and health and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and collections.
Requirements
- Valid HGV/LGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
- Current Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous experience in multi-drop deliveries is highly desirable.
- Good geographical knowledge and route planning skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
This role is ongoing. There are various shifts which will depend on need at the time of employment. The hourly rate is £12.28 raising to £14.01 after 12 weeks. You will accrue up to 28 days holiday per year. Please note we do not offer sponsorship.
