Outdoor work, paid travel time, immediate start! We are looking for hard‑working people to join a team of maintenance technicians to upkeep and repair a variety of outdoor surfaces. You will be traveling nationwide to a wide range of sites where you will be using small, motored vehicles to maintain sports surfaces. The work includes manual labour and lifting items. You must be happy working away from home and occasionally stopping out for the night due to the location. Punctuality and reliability are therefore essential for this role.
Responsibilities
- Travel nationwide to maintain sports surfaces, using small, motored vehicles; perform manual labour and lift items.
- Work scheduled starts between 04:00 am and 07:30 am, lasting 8–12 hours, with occasional stop‑outs.
- The role is Monday‑to‑Friday but may have less work some weeks.
Requirements
- You must have previous outdoor experience, preferably labouring.
- Night stop‑outs are often required.
- You will need your own transport due to shift times.
- You must be happy working under instruction.
Compensation and Benefits
You will be paid £12.71 an hour and accrue holiday up to 28 days per year pro rata.
