We are looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join an established waste and recycling operation in Nottingham. This is ongoing temporary work, with regular shifts available and flexible working patterns to suit your availability.
The Job
- Driving C+E vehicles with walking floor trailers, completing collections and deliveries across the region.
- Walking floor / bulk haulage work.
- Vehicle checks before and after shifts.
- Safe and efficient deliveries and collections.
- Completing required paperwork and maintaining compliance.
- Providing professional customer service.
What We're Looking For
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence.
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous walking floor experience preferred, but relevant Class 1 experience will be considered.
- Good knowledge of Driver Hours and Working Time regulations.
- Reliable, professional and safety-conscious approach.
Hours & Pay
- £17.00 per hour PAYE + 28 days' holiday pro rata.
- £20.00 per hour via approved Umbrella.
- Shifts start at approximately 05:00 or 06:00 and finish around 15:00.
- 5 shifts from 7 – choose your preferred working days.
- 4 on / 2 off.
- 4 on / 4 off.
