We are looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join an established waste and recycling operation in Nottingham. This is ongoing temporary work, with regular shifts available and flexible working patterns to suit your availability.

The Job

  • Driving C+E vehicles with walking floor trailers, completing collections and deliveries across the region.
  • Walking floor / bulk haulage work.
  • Vehicle checks before and after shifts.
  • Safe and efficient deliveries and collections.
  • Completing required paperwork and maintaining compliance.
  • Providing professional customer service.

What We're Looking For

  • Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence.
  • Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Previous walking floor experience preferred, but relevant Class 1 experience will be considered.
  • Good knowledge of Driver Hours and Working Time regulations.
  • Reliable, professional and safety-conscious approach.

Hours & Pay

  • £17.00 per hour PAYE + 28 days' holiday pro rata.
  • £20.00 per hour via approved Umbrella.
  • Shifts start at approximately 05:00 or 06:00 and finish around 15:00.
  • 5 shifts from 7 – choose your preferred working days.
  • 4 on / 2 off.
  • 4 on / 4 off.

This is an ongoing HGV Class 1 Driver opportunity in Nottingham, ideal for drivers looking for regular work without committing to a permanent position. Please note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
