Overview
We currently have a flexible position available for an experienced Healthcare Assistant in Burton on Trent. You will be working in a beautifully maintained residential care home that supports up to 27 elderly residents, many of whom are living with age-related conditions such as Dementia and Alzheimer’s. In this role, you will follow tailored care plans to ensure each resident receives the highest standard of support. You will play a key role in promoting both physical and emotional wellbeing throughout the day. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide warm, compassionate care that truly enhances the quality of life for each resident, no matter the circumstance.
Responsibilities
- Follow tailored care plans to provide the highest standard of support for residents.
- Assist with personal care tasks such as toileting, bathing, and dressing.
- Support mobility and nutritional needs of residents.
- Promote physical and emotional wellbeing throughout the day.
Qualifications
- An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months
- Up-to-date Infection Control, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and Moving and Handling training
- A Referenceable work history
- At least 3 months experience within a similar setting
Additional Information
If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, we can help with online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep.

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will be working between Monday to Friday with hours 08:00 to 15:00.
The rate of pay for this role is £12.50 per hour.
