Responsibilities
- Handling produce, using knife skills to prepare vegetables there can be separating florets of broccoli/cauliflower, slicing sweet potatoes into wedges, removing the cores from peppers etc.
- Checking, washing and preparing delicate vegetables to the required standards and processes.
- Processing by hand prepared root crop vegetables into bags up to 10kg in weight.
- Inspecting and sorting peeled root crop vegetables to meet customer requirements.
- Packing orders to meet customer requirements, pallet banding/wrapping.
Requirements
Previous experience working in a warehouse
Would be advantageous to have worked in a similar environment but not essential
The envirnment is very cold.
Employment details
Ongoing work with the chance to become permanent.
Monday to Friday, starting work at 08:00 and working between 8-10 hours per day.
Weekend work is available but not essential.
Paying £11.44 per hour
