Care Assistants - Weekend Work in Dronfield

We have immediate starts for experienced Care Assistants in the Dronfield and Chesterfield Areas.

Our client is looking for experienced Care Assistants to assist the full-time staff in this wonderful residential homes. The home supports elderly residents as well as individuals with learning disabilities, and they need friendly, reliable people to join their team on Saturdays and Sundays, working various shifts. Flexibility is a must.

What you’ll be doing:

• Helping residents with their daily routines, activities, and care plans.
• Creating a warm, safe, and positive environment where everyone feels at ease.
• Keeping up with daily tasks and logging quick, accurate paperwork updates.

What we need from you:

• At least three months experience as a Care Assistant.
• A calm and empathetic approach to individuals, connecting with people on their level.
• An enhanced DBS check dated within the last 6 months or one that is on the update service. If not, don’t worry we can facilitate this for you.

To be suitable for this position you must:

• Have at least three months experience within a Care Home Setting.
• Able to provide references covering the last 2 years of work preferably in Care.
• Up to date Mandatory training in Safeguarding, Infection Control, Moving and Handling
• Have an in-date enhanced DBS check dated within the last 6 months, ideally on the update service. If not don’t panic, we can help you.

This is an ongoing role that can become permanent for successful candidates.

Shift times are:-

• Days – 0700 to 1400
• Afternoons – 1400 to 2200
• Nights – 2200 to 0700.

Weekday shifts are available on request.

The hourly rate is £12.71 to £13.33 an hour. Holiday entitlement being accrued, up to a maximum of 28 days per year.
