We are currently seeking experienced Support Workers to join a dedicated supported living service in Derby. This role involves working with young people aged 16 and over, helping them develop the life skills they need to live independently. Many of the residents have experienced difficult pasts, so we are looking for calm, patient, and empathetic individuals who can offer consistent support and encouragement.

Each resident has a personalised care plan, allowing you to understand their preferences and needs from the start. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Helping with cooking
  • Supporting with home care and domestic duties
  • Providing personal care
  • Accompanying residents on outdoor activities

Requirements and Experience:

  • An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months
  • Up to date Infection Control, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and Moving and Handling training
  • A referenceable work history
  • At least 3 months experience within a similar setting

If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!

This role offers ongoing work for the right candidate. You will be working from 09:00 to 19:00 on Saturday and/or Sunday. Rate of pay for this role is £13.00 per hour.
