Overview
If you are an experienced Care Assistant looking for flexible work with weekly paid hours, then look no further! You will be working in a beautiful care home that cares for elderly residents living with a range of age-related illnesses including Dementia and Alzheimers.
Responsibilities
- Following personal care plans
- Maintaining health and safety standards and complying with requirements of the home
- General housekeeping and domestic duties
- Reporting condition updates and recording fluid intakes
- Helping patients remain as independent as possible and catering to their likes and dislikes
- Assisting with daily living activities including morning and night-time routines
- Working alongside support workers and care workers to provide a complex care package tailored to individual needs
- Toileting/bed bathing and strip washing the service users

Qualifications & Requirements
- Have two employment references, one of which must be from a care home setting
- Hold in-date mandatory training certificates (inc. moving and handling, safeguarding vulnerable adults and infection control)
- Hold an enhanced DBS certificate dated within the past 12 months or registered on the update service
- Have a range of experience in the use of Hoists, Slings and Rotundas
- Have a minimum of 6 months paid UK work experience working within a residential care home
- Be fully vaccinated against Covid-19
If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!
Benefits & Work Hours
This role offers immediate start, ongoing work opportunities. You will be working from 21:00 to 07:00 on days that suit you between Monday to Sunday.
Pay
- £12.75 per hour (Mon-Fri)
- £13.25 per hour (Sat and Sun)
