Retail E-Commerce & Commercial Development Manager £40,000 – £45,000 Chesterfield / Hybrid
This is a newly created opportunity for an E-Commerce & Commercial Development Manager to take ownership of the online B2C side of an established specialist consumer business going through a major period of change and growth.
The business has recently been acquired by a global organisation and has big plans for its brands.
They now need someone who can bring fresh ideas, commercial thinking and a modern digital approach to the business.
This isn't about simply maintaining a website.
You'll have the freedom to look at what's there, work out what's working, identify what's outdated and help shape where the business goes next.
THE ROLE
- Own and develop the B2C e-commerce operation
- Improve the website, online customer journey and product presentation
- Develop social media, digital marketing and promotional campaigns
- Identify new customer, product and revenue opportunities
- Use sales and customer data to spot trends and drive growth
- Explore new marketing channels, partnerships and ideas
- Work with external web/digital partners and know the right questions to ask
- Work closely with sales, marketing, customer service and operations
ABOUT YOU
We're looking for someone who is commercially minded, digitally savvy and full of ideas.
You could come from e-commerce, D2C, digital marketing, specialist retail, commercial development or a similar consumer-focused environment.
You'll ideally have 3–7 years' relevant experience and a degree/diploma, but solid experience and a proven track record will count for more than a qualification.
