Job Description
Got a valid Counterbalance FLT licence and looking for regular warehouse work with flexible shifts? We’re recruiting Counterbalance FLT Drivers to join a busy fresh produce warehouse operation in Nottingham, offering ongoing work and the opportunity to build your experience within an established warehouse team.
If you enjoy a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment and want flexibility around your working days, this could be a great opportunity.
You’ll play an important part in the daily warehouse operation, using a counterbalance forklift to move stock safely between storage areas, the warehouse and the external yard.
Your responsibilities will include loading and unloading vehicles, replenishing stock and ensuring products are stored and positioned correctly. You may also assist with general warehouse duties, keep work areas clean and organised, and follow site health and safety procedures.
The role involves some manual handling and working in chilled warehouse conditions, so you’ll need to be comfortable working in a cooler environment throughout your shift.
Duration: This is an ongoing temporary position offering regular shifts, with the potential for longer-term work for reliable and suitable candidates.
Contract Type: Temporary
Hourly Rate: The role pays £12.81 per hour, with flexible shift options throughout the week and the opportunity to accrue up to 28 days’ annual leave pro rata. You’ll also benefit from ongoing work and the potential for longer-term opportunities. Please note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Working Hours: Flexible shifts are available Monday to Sunday, with shift patterns arranged around operational requirements and your availability. You’ll need to be flexible regarding the days you work.
Closing Date: 20261112
Experience & Qualifications
You’ll need a valid Counterbalance FLT licence and at least three months of recent experience in a warehouse, logistics or food production environment, alongside practical experience operating a counterbalance forklift.
You must be comfortable with manual handling, including lifting items weighing up to 10kg, and willing to work in chilled warehouse conditions. A dependable attitude, good attention to detail and a strong commitment to health and safety are essential.
