Care Assistants - Late Shifts

Are you looking a role that fills you with a sense of achievement every day with no two days being the same?

This outstanding care home is looking for well-motivated Care Assistants to assist in the support of elderly people with Age Related Illnesses. You will be expected to hit the ground running and integrate into the team. You will be attending to their activities of daily living and will be dealing with clients with a wide range of physical and mental disabilities related to age. Dementia care experience would be advantageous but not essential.

Daily tasks will include:

• Attend to client’s daily hygiene requirements and nutritional needs
• Observations of client’s conditions and reporting accordingly using the company’s reporting systems
• Always complying with health and safety in a professional manner

For this role, you must have:

• A least 3 months experience in an Elderly Care environment
• A DBS dated within the last 6 months, registered on the update service, if not we can perform a DBS on your behalf at a cost of £49.50
• Up to Date relevant mandatory training in Moving and Handling, Infection Control and Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and ideally the certificates to show for this or we can assist you to access online training platforms.
• Referenceable work history covering the past 2 years
• The Enthusiasm to make a difference

Shift times are:

Days - 1400 to 2000

Other shifts are available on request especially around bank holidays.

Rates of pay are £12.71 to £16.90 per hour. Other shifts are available at premium rates. You will also accrue up to 28 days paid holiday per year.
