Care Assistants - Afternoon Shifts

Urgently Seeking Experienced Carer Assistants in the Chesterfield area!

We’re looking for experienced Care Workers to join an extra care service where each resident has their own flat within the building. This care provider delivers a “community-style” service entirely on-site, offering the same level of personalised support you’d expect in traditional community care without the need to travel between homes.

Residents are semi-independent, but your role will include personal care, medication administration, meal preparation, domestic duties, and occasional shopping trips in the local area. Some residents require double-up care and assisted moving using hoists and other mobility aids. Care is delivered through a mix of scheduled service calls and ad-hoc visits, all within the same building.

For this role, you must have;

• - A least 3 months experience in an Elderly Care environment
• - A DBS dated within the last 6 months, registered on the update service, if not we can perform a DBS on your behalf at a cost of £49.50
• - Up to Date relevant mandatory training in Moving and Handling, Infection Control and Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and ideally the certificates to show for this or we can assist you to access online training platforms.
• - Referenceable work history covering the past 2 years
• - The passion to make a difference to an individual’s life.

This is an ongoing role for the successful candidates that has the potential to turn into a permanent role for successful candidates.

Shift times are:-

• Afternoons 01400 to 2200
• Other shifts are available on request especially bank holidays

You will be paid £12.71 per hour rising to £13.33 after 13 weeks. Premium rates apply after 1900 hrs. You will also accrue up to 28 Days holiday for time served.
