We are looking for experienced residential Care Assistants to work for our client in Swanick. The home has the facilities for up to 45 residents with a dedicated team of Carers that are experts in the field of Alzheimer’s Disease, Old Age and Physical Disabilities so experience in these areas would be advantageous.
As an experienced Care Assistant you will be required to follow individual’s care plans, care for and attend to the daily activities of the residents. This dedicated team of Carers specialise in providing a full care package to encompass activities that promote wellbeing with residents suffering from Dementia and they pride themselves in providing a supportive and encouraging atmosphere. This is a physically and mentally demanding job so you must have a real desire to work in this setting.
You will need:

A minimum of 2 years working in a UK care setting, with this being referenceable

A DBS dated within the last 12 months or the facility to pay for one

All relevant mandatory training up-to-date and ideally certificates to show for this
Shifts available over the weekend are:
0700-1430
1430-2200
2200-0700
Rate of pay is £11.44 per hour between the hours of 0700-1900 and £15.22 per hour from 1900-0700
