Weekly paid hours in the Heanor area!

We are currently offering an immediate start for an experienced Healthcare Assistant to join a beautiful care home that supports up to 60 residents. The home specialises in caring for individuals with age‑related conditions such as Dementia and Alzheimer’s, making the support of both mental and physical wellbeing a top priority.

In this role, you will assist residents with daily tasks including hygiene, mobility, and nutrition, while fostering a safe and supportive environment. You’ll also be responsible for completing housekeeping duties, adhering to health and safety protocols, and accurately reporting any condition updates or incidents to senior staff.

To be suitable for this position you must have:

  • An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months
  • Up to date Infection Control, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and Moving and Handling training
  • A Referenceable work history
  • Proof of full vaccinated status against Covid‑19
  • At least 3 months experience within a similar setting

If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!

This role offers ongoing opportunities for the right candidate.

You will be working from 14:15 to 22:00 with hours available, as required, from Monday to Sunday.

Rate of pay £12.35 per hour
