We are seeking experienced Care Assistants to assist in the care and support of the elderly in a day care centre and assist the established team of Carers.
You will be attending to their activities of daily living and will be dealing with clients with a wide range of physical and mental disabilities.
Daily tasks will include:
• Attend to client’s daily Hygiene and Nutritional needs
• Housekeeping duties
• Observations of client’s conditions and reporting accordingly
• Complying with health and safety
• Completion of paperwork when required.
To apply for this role you must;
– Have a minimum of 3 months experience within a residential nursing home environment
– Have a checkable work history (Up to 5 years)
– Have up to date Mandatory training certificates (inc. Emergency First Aid, Food Hygiene level 2, Practical Moving and Handling)
– Have an in date enhanced DBS check.
Ad hoc shifts available
You will be required to work between the hours of 09:00 and 15:00, usually working 5 to 6 hours a day.
The rate of pay for this position will be £12.21 an hour.
