Stock Controller in Burton upon Trent

STOCK CONTROLLER Burton-on-Trent £26,000 - £33,000 9am to 5pm or 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday, Permanent We are recruiting a Stock Controller to join an established manufacturing business in Burton-on-Trent, part of a large international group. Reporting to the Plant Controller, you'll play an important role in maintaining accurate stock records, coordinating inventory administration and supporting the day-to-day running of the operation. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Coordinate monthly physical stocktakes, reconcile stock levels against system records and investigate discrepancies. • Maintain accurate stock records, tracking materials through production from work in progress to finished goods. • Prepare daily loading lists for customer deliveries and dispatch. • Monitor and record raw material purchase prices. • Raise purchase order requests and maintain supplier catalogue pricing. • Process goods receipts and update inventory records. ABOUT YOU • Previous experience in stock control, inventory administration, manufacturing administration or a similar role. • Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy. • Confident working with figures, records and computer systems. • Organised, methodical and able to manage a varied workload. THE ROLE Salary: £26,000 to £33,000 per annum Hours: Monday to Friday. Working hours: 9am to 5pm or 8am to 4pm. Location: Burton-on-Trent. Interested?
