Local Opportunities for experienced Care Assistants within Burton on Trent! You will be working in a beautifully maintained residential care home that supports up to 27 elderly residents, many of whom are living with age-related conditions such as Dementia and Alzheimer’s. In this role, you will follow tailored care plans to ensure each resident receives the highest standard of support. You will assist with personal care tasks such as toileting, bathing, and dressing, support mobility and nutritional needs, and play a key role in promoting both physical and emotional wellbeing throughout the day. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide warm, compassionate care that enhances the quality of life for each resident.
Responsibilities
- Follow tailored care plans to ensure each resident receives the highest standard of support.
- Assist with personal care tasks (toileting, bathing, dressing).
- Support mobility and nutritional needs of residents.
- Promote physical and emotional wellbeing throughout the day.
- Provide warm, compassionate care to residents to enhance their quality of life.
Requirements
- Have referenceable work history.
- Hold in-date mandatory training certificates (moving and handling, safeguarding vulnerable adults, infection control).
- Hold an enhanced DBS certificate dated within the past 12 months or be registered on the update service.
- Have a minimum of 3 months paid UK work experience within a care setting.
Additional Information
Please note that sponsorships are not offered. We can help with DBS and training; training may be available at a subsidised fee and certificates are yours to keep. This is an ongoing position with hours Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 15:00. Pay rate: £13.00 per hour.
