We are seeking reliable, dedicated and caring Care Assistants to cover afternoon hours at the weekend in a care home in Heanor, Derbyshire. The home provides care for the elderly and residents with dementia, mental health issues and physical disabilities. We are looking for someone passionate about care, who is willing to adapt to new situations.
Responsibilities
- Attend to personal care needs of residents.
- Support mobility where required.
- Assist residents in daily activities to enhance their everyday lives.
- Work from 14:15 to 22:15 on Saturdays and/or Sundays.

Minimum Requirements
- Safeguarding training within 1 year.
- Infection control training within 1 year.
- Moving and handling training within 1 year.
- DBS check for adult services dated within the last 12 months (preferably on the update service).
- Minimum of 3 months experience in a health and social care environment.
Compensation
Pay is £12.71 per hour, with an enhanced rate of £16.90 per hour for hours worked between 19:00 and 22:00.
