Perfect role for Care Assistants looking for weekday early shifts whilst having weekly pay benefits. You will be based in a lovely care home, specialising in care of residents with dementia and other age-related illnesses. This role is all about helping residents to live happy, enriched lives, providing a friendly face and aiding them in their day-to-day routines. As you get to know the residents you support, you will be able to recognise and help them achieve their personal goals.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Domestic tasks
  • Following health and safety guidelines and condition update reports
  • Personal care
  • Assisting with day‑to‑day activities
  • Promoting independence
  • Assisting with feeding, dressing and bathing

Qualifications required:

  • Proven experience within a similar care environment
  • Checkable work history
  • Up‑to‑date mandatory training documents (Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving and Handling, and Infection Control). If you do not have up‑to‑date certificates, online training is offered for an additional fee
  • In‑date enhanced DBS check; if your DBS has expired, the facility to arrange a new one will be offered

This is an ongoing opportunity. You will be working from Monday to Friday, starting at 07:00 and finishing at 14:00. You will be paid an hourly rate of £12.55 per hour, plus up to 28 accrued holiday pay.
