Perfect role for Care Workers looking for additional hours whilst having weekday morning availability. We are looking for care assistants who live in the NG13 area, who are specialised in the care of residents with dementia and other age-related illnesses. This role is all about helping residents live happy, enriched lives, providing a friendly face and aiding them in their day-to-day routines. As you get to know the residents you support, you will be able to recognise and help them achieve their personal goals.

Responsibilities

  • Domestic tasks
  • Following health and safety guidelines
  • Updating reports
  • Personal care
  • Assisting with feeding, dressing, bathing
  • Providing emotional and physical support

Qualifications

  • Proven experience within a similar care environment
  • Checkable work history
  • Up-to-date mandatory training documents: Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving and Handling, and Infection Control (online training available for fee)
  • In-date enhanced DBS check (if expired, we can facilitate a new one)

We are unable to offer support for VISA applicants. Your typical hours will start at 07.00 and finish at 14.00, Monday to Friday.
