Ideal role for a Care Assistant looking for additional work hours within the weekend afternoons. We offer a quick onboarding process with weekly pay benefits. If you are experienced in supporting vulnerable adults with dementia and other age‑related conditions, looking for weekend work who live in the Nottingham NG10 area, we want to hear from you.

You will be working as part of a professional team, in a comfortable, residential home in the Nottingham NG4 area. You will be supporting and caring for the residents, offering care with their day‑to‑day lives, encouraging independence and contributing to the emotional and wellbeing of the vulnerable individuals who live there.

Duties of this position include:

  • Personal Care
  • Helping with dressing, washing and feeding
  • Assisting with the movement and positioning of individuals
  • Offering companionship and care
  • Entertaining and providing support and care

Qualifications:

  • You must have proven experience within a similar care environment
  • Have a checkable work history
  • Have up‑to‑date mandatory training documents, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving and Handling, and Infection Control. Should you not have up‑to‑date certificates, we can offer online training, with an added fee
  • Have an in‑date enhanced DBS check; if your DBS has expired, we can offer the facility to arrange a new one for you
  • We are unable to offer support for VISA applicants.

This is an ongoing opportunity. Your typical hours will start at 14:00 and finish at 22:00 on Saturdays and Sundays. You will be paid an hourly rate of £12.75 per hour plus up to 28 accrued holiday pay.
