Purchasing Assistant

Job Title: Purchasing Assistant Location: Knowlhill, Milton Keynes Salary: Competitive Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Are you super organised, love working with data, and enjoy keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes? We’re on the lookout for a Purchasing Assistant to join our friendly and forward-thinking team! This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in our supply chain process, working closely with suppliers and internal teams to keep everything on track and up to date. What you’ll be doing: * Processing and placing purchase orders with care and accuracy * Keeping an eye on delivery and shipping updates to make sure everything arrives on time * Checking that all shipping documents are correct and complete before anything goes out * Updating order statuses on both our internal system and supplier platforms * Keeping detailed records of purchases, pricing, dates, and other key information * Supporting the wider purchasing team with general admin tasks * Communicating regularly with suppliers to maintain great working relationships What you’ll bring: * Solid Microsoft Office skills – especially Excel * A methodical, detail-focused approach to your work * Strong time management and organisation skills * A team player attitude with great communication skills – whether that’s face-to-face, by phone or email * Experience in an admin or supply chain role would be a big plus!
