We're recruiting for a Test Engineer to join one of our clients based in Milton Keynes.

Duties

  • Prepare test certificates and other internal documentation.
  • Carry out testing in line with engineering drawings, including mechanical build testing and wiring checks.
  • Work within the ISO9001 quality system, carrying out inspections to ensure compliance.
  • Produce test documentation and reports.
  • Assemble and wire a range of electrical assemblies using electrical drawings and schematics.
  • Support and mentor apprentices as part of the wider engineering team.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

  • Ideally hold an HNC, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification in an electrical discipline.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Able to demonstrate a high level of competence in mechanical and schematic build compliance.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately and follow technical drawings.
