Purpose of the Role
You will play a key part in ensuring smooth sales and operational processes. From setting up items in SAP to creating accurate sales orders, booking production jobs and producing clear reports, you’ll help keep everything running across the full order cycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up new items accurately in SAP / internal databases
- Create and maintain sales orders, ensuring suitable and achievable delivery dates
- Book production orders and monitor progress through the system
- Communicate with customers regarding the status and progress of their orders
- Produce regular Excel-based reports to support operations and decision making
- Maintain accurate data and support general administrative tasks within the department
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent)
- Previous experience in a similar sales/operations administrative role
- Good working knowledge of SAP (highly beneficial)
- Excellent and accurate data entry skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- A methodical, organised approach with strong attention to detail
