We are currently seeking a skilled Engineering Technician to join our client’s team in Milton Keynes. This position offers an excellent opportunity to secure a permanent role following a successful temporary period.

Working Hours:

  • Monday–Thursday: 08:00–16:30
  • Friday: 08:00–15:30

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working within a factory/workshop environment
  • Operating power presses
  • Testing finished products
  • Carrying out quality checks and inspections
  • Producing and assembling mechanical components
  • Maintaining 5S standards
  • Collaborating with other departments to support production needs
  • Ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety requirements

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Completed apprenticeship, NVQ, or equivalent Mechanical Engineering qualification (essential)
  • Competent PC skills, including Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Experience in assembly, fabrication, and inspection
  • Ability to identify root causes and develop effective engineering solutions
